RaRaw Botanicals is a business providing handcrafted bath and body products made with love and passion. Whether you’re looking for scented candles or soaps to give to friends or keep for yourself, we offer products perfected through years of crafting. In addition, each of our products incorporate natural ingredients and essential oils with aromatherapeutic benefits.
Mission Statement
Our goal is to provide our customers with botanical self-care essentials packed with nourishing ingredients, lifting fragrances, and calming essential oils.
Our Humble Beginnings
RaRaw Botanicals was born in a one-bedroom apartment in 2006. Raksha attended aesthetics school and took an aromatherapy class. It got her hooked, and she spent her days making soaps and candles. She then started selling her creations to family and friends for more than 3 years. Eventually, she also started selling her products to local spas and shops.
Though we’ve been in business on and off for more than 10 years, our goal remains the same: to create products that bring light and positivity into the lives of our customers. In these turbulent times, we strive to help people reach out to others and provide each other with sources of peace and happiness.
Meet the Owner
Raksha Sharma was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her family moved there in 1994 to start a business venture in the hospitality industry. While she felt the pressure of doing good in school and becoming a medical professional, Raksha was sure that this wasn’t what she was passionate about. She wanted to own and operate a business where she could put her knowledge of skin care and aromatherapy to use.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University with bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science, Raksha was intrigued with the concept of holistic skin and body care through the use of natural ingredients. She then pursued an education in aesthetics from the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, eventually getting her license. To date, she has more than 15 years of experience in candle making & aromatherapy.
